Lamb Meatballs Ingredients:
• Ground lamb: 300g
• Onion (finely grated or chopped): 1 small
• Garlic (paste): 1 cloves
• Parsley (chopped): 1 tbsp.
• Ground mixed spices: 1 tsp
(cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, cumin, coriander, nutmeg, mace)
• Paprika: ½ tsp
• Black pepper: ½ tsp
• Salt: ½ tsp
• Egg: 1
• Chickpeas flour: 2 tbsp
• Olive oil: for frying or brushing if baking
🥒 Tzatziki Sauce Ingredients:
• Greek yoghurt: 1/2 cup
• Cucumber (grated & squeezed): 1 tbsp
• Garlic (minced): 1 clove
• Lemon juice: 1 tsp
• Olive oil: 1 tsp
• Fresh parsley or mint (chopped): 1 tsp
• Salt: a pinch
• Black pepper: a pinch
• Dried oregano: 1/2 tsp
Quick Method:
1. Make the Meatballs:
• Mix all lamb meatball ingredients in a bowl.
• Form into small balls (bite-sized or larger as preferred).
• Pan-fry in oil over medium heat until browned and cooked through (~8–10 mins), or bake at 200°C (400°F) for 15–20 min
2. Make Tzatziki:
• Grate cucumber, squeeze out water.
• Mix with yoghurt, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, parsley/mint, oregano, salt, and pepper.
• Chill for 10–15 minutes before serving.
