On the same day of every week, my boss brings me brekkie! Not just any breakfast… but the goods! One of my absolute favorites and a staple in my culture.

EDIT: For those who do not know, this is a classic Filipino breakfast. Depending on what meat items are present, the name changes.

Essentially, the name is a combination of the items garlic rice, fried egg, and a protein.
Silog: sinangag (garlic fried rice) and itlog (fried egg).

Filipino breakfast with longganisa is: Longsilog
Filipino breakfast with tocino is: Tocilog

So because this has both proteins, it is a combo silog.
This one features tocino (sweet cured pork), longganisa (savory pork sausage), garlic fried rice, and a fried egg.

Rice and egg is always a winner, but I’d prefer my egg runnier.
