MASON, Ohio (WXIX) – Three well-known Cincinnati restaurants will bring traditional southern comfort foods and homemade Italian cuisine to the Tri-State’s newest multi-million dollar development.

Thunderdome, a Cincinnati restaurant group with businesses nationwide, has plans to open Pepp & Dolores and The Eagle with CityBird at The District at Deerfield.

Construction will begin in about a month from Thursday, Feb. 19, Deerfield Township officials say, with both restaurants opening sometime between July and September.

Currently, customers can only find Pepp & Dolores and The Eagler in Over-the-Rhine. CityBird can be found in six other locations around Greater Cincinnati.

Bakersfield, a popular Mexican street food restaurant in the Thunderdome family, was also supposed to open at The District, developers previously said. It was scheduled to open this summer, but it is unknown if that is still happening.
