MORRISTOWN, NJ — Cotto, the Italian fine dining restaurant in Morristown, will launch lunch service on Wednesday. Guests can experience a curated selection of artisanal sandwiches, salads, and desserts during the new lunch hours.

To celebrate the launch, Cotto, located at 90 South Street, will offer a limited number of sandwiches per day. These sandwiches will feature fresh schiacciata bread, which is baked each morning. Schiacciata is a traditional Italian focaccia known for its thin, fluffy interior and crisp, golden exterior. This bread serves as the base for Cotto’s sandwich creations.

The sandwiches will include ingredients such as house-roasted porchetta, mortadella, stracciatella from Puglia, and house-made ricotta. The sandwiches aim to bridge Cotto’s fine dining experience with a more casual midday meal, representatives said.

In addition to sandwiches, the lunch menu will feature fresh salads and decadent desserts. These items will showcase the same attention to detail and labor-intensive techniques that define Cotto’s dinner service. The Stirling Restaurant Group operates Cotto, which is led by Executive Chef Jordan Petriello.

“We’re thrilled to bring Cotto’s approach to craftsmanship and quality to lunchtime guests,” Petriello said. “Every element, from the freshly baked schiacciate to the house-made cheeses and roasted meats, is made with care to deliver an elevated yet approachable lunch experience.”

Cotto’s lunch service opens on Thursday. Sandwiches will be available while supplies last. Due to the limited number of sandwiches to start, lunch reservations will not be accepted. Lunch service will be walk-in only. Catering will also be available for this lunch menu.
