They’ve done it again.
Fresh off the heels of a ranch and potato chips-inspired cookie and a pickle flavor, Columbus cookie stalwart Cheryl’s has rolled out another eye-popping option.
On sale now is their new Pizza-Flavored Buttercream-Frosted Cookie.

While bizarre flavor pairings are something of a food trend today, many of these items are far less distasteful than they actually appear. For example, last fall’s Skyline Chili Ice Cream was not in fact chili flavored, but Skyline-inspired, and ended up as an actually pleasant-tasting twist on vanilla, with mild cinnamon and spices, plus oyster cracker pieces.
Cheryl’s new Pizza-Flavored Buttercream-Frosted Cookies are not pizza-inspired, however, they’re pizza-flavored. The brand describes them as “tomato-flavored cookies finished with parmesan buttercream frosting and a dusting of Italian seasoning.”
A box of six pizza-flavored cookies from Cheryl’s is available here for $16.99.
