Carmine’s Italian Combo from Carmine Lonardo’s in Lakewood, CO
Visited my brother last weekend in Colorado and he brought us to this deli in his neighborhood. Was superb.

Carmines is a favorite here. They do make some terrific sandwiches. Their pastrami & egg salad are also noteworthy. That said they also make some of the priciest sandwiches in the metro. This looks like their 8” which I believe runs about $15. The standard 12” is in the neighborhood of $20. I bring it up because their prices are a bit controversial.

They make excellent food, but ive heard repeatedly the owners and some of the staff are very anti-LGBTQ.
Looks like there’s a bunch of Denverites on this sub. Either way I hear great things about this place and want to give it a try but it’s way across town from me
