Added a wood top to the coffee station and added some led ambient lighting.
Got another mazzer Philos in black with the i200d burr and wow no more muddy espresso now, and to my surprise,it produces a lot of fines and it can grind super fine, on the i189d I grind at 20 for fresh beans ,Costa Rican terrazu and when I tried on the black with the i200d ,it choked the machine and I have to grind at 27 for the same bean.
But the flavor wow I can taste the nouances now.
No more muddy cups
And the compak cube is one of the best investment I have made, super easy and above all, super consistent and fast.

have you ever had the thought “maybe one less grinder”?

    This seems past excessive.

glad you’re happy with your setup

    You have a problem.

But also, which grinder do you like best and why? Looking to replace my DC63 which I see you have. It’s so inconsistent grind to grind, gets coarser as it warms up.

Can someone explain to me why a regular person would need multiple very expensive grinders where they all have the ability to grind to whatever grain you want ?

Bellow on Philos is really overkill 😆

Your “coffee corner” has “coffee room” vibes

Um lol, how is it possible that I literally JUST saw your review on Amazon for one of these grinders 😂😂😂😂

  7. HoleSinkMagik

Such a nice collection of grinders but the vibe is in shambles with that cheap live-laugh-love-esq coffee sign on the wall

  8. Seriously curious are you married or have children? I don’t mean this in any specific way. I’m actually a bit jealous. I think my wife would cut my balls off if I had something like this.

  9. This coffee corner is ass. You need like 3 different colored linea minis plus 2 or 3 micras for good measure before you can call it a true coffee corner

  10. Corner? How about coffee cave? Do you serve customers out that window?

I feel an intervention coming. Totally kidding, love the setup. Wish I had a better grinder selection.

I looked at that and wondered why Reddit was showing me a picture of a kitchen, bloody algorithm…..
Then I realized, this is some mad man/woman’s coffee setup……..

You need a bit of minimalism. 🙂
You can start with the nespresso.

You do know grinders are not a consumable product right? You can use them more than once

Have you ever considered selling all the grinders and getting a Zerno Z2, which is designed as a platform for experimentation and allows to mount a huge set of different burrs? That would also allow you to get some differences in your coffee

With all this gear, you should open a YouTube channel and rival James and Lance 😁

  17. RenegadeMutantMuffin

What were the most prominent differences you noticed in terms of taste between the different grinders (and burrs)?

Where did you get the plastic and dark wood accessory for the top of the mazzer philos hopper? Looks great! Whats it purpose?
I have the lelit bianca v3 in steel and walnut, and this accesory adding walnut to the mazzer philos would look great and cohesive
    Amazing coffee corner mate!

  19. This seems a bit excessive for me, but if you find joy in it, who am I to judge ? Enjoy, my man

Nice! Hey, what parts did you put together to make up the top for the ceado life grinder?

  21. Opening_Fig_9529

Thanks, I feel much less obsessed now.

  22. But why? it doesn‘t look good anymore… I prefer less, but with a sense of style.
