salsa snoot here. usually a no on store bought but i do like cocina fresca habanero. looking for another backup and checked here…tried this is and it’s legit with very little if any vinegar-y taste! so good i had to share!

I’ve not tried this but I do like Casa Sanchez or Lucky Habanero San Blas Private Reserve. Lucky Habanero has other versions but San Blas is on the spicy side.
There’s another brand from Austin and they make a really good jalapeño salsa that varies considerably between super mild and quite hot so I never know what’s in there. Yes, I know it varies because peppers are not all the same but I figured there would be some kind of standard with a little bit of variation.
Most other store brands feel like chunky and glorified ketchup and sometimes I’m dumb enough and buy those again. Then, as I’m binge watching something, I wonder how I was stupid enough and did that again.
Edit: I found the jalapeño salsa and it’s made by Tacodeli.
