  1. Well, I'm starved! Who wants some Jambalaya? My mother once showed me a wonderful recipe for Jambalaya. In fact, it nearly killed her! Hahaha! You could say the kick was right out of Hell! Ohoho, I'm on a roll! Yes, sir! This is the start of some real changes down here! The game is set! Now…

(Hazbin Hotel Reference aside, love the Jambalaya recipe! 🫶🏻)

  2. Leaving in the shrimp to cook with the rice and additional time with the black eyed peas will almost assuredly overcook the shrimp

  3. Thank you for sharing your recipe, this looks amazing!!!!! Also I think its awesome you come from a cooking family….best kind there is 🙂

  4. I appreciate the insight on the tomatoes—spot on. @jtheejaypenn, I understand your recipe is YOUR recipe BUT as someone from New Orleans, Louisiana: black-eyed peas have no business in a Jambalaya. Absolutely, not! We take our traditions seriously down here!"

  5. that andouille ain't gettin browned if it's not touching the pan over all them vegetables, man, cmon man, we have eyes. you mustave browned that andouille off camera during the cut from black eyed peas, you cheatin, you don't think we can see with out eyes. i hate stuff like this.

  6. I was confused at first but you said creole so that's a creole jambalaya 😂 see im a Cajun and ours be looking different, cheers man!

  7. I love Jambalaya! This recipe looks delicious. Sometimes I like to make mine with fusilli or penne noodles instead of rice. One correction though. With your history you should know that sausage is not pronounced "an-dool" sausage, it's pronounced "an-doo-ee".

  8. My family is Creole on my mother's side. We grew up eating Shrimp Creole, a similar shrimp, tomato, and rice dish.
