They’re fairly common genetic mutations. It happens in about 1 in 1,000 tomatoes. Sometimes caused by heat. Sometimes by injury to the fruit when it’s very small. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. Totally edible. While disease can also cause mutations…that one doesn’t look like one of them. One of mine last season.
