Just got back from Lisbon and of course I came home with Nespresso pods instead of magnets 😅
Picked up two flavors we don’t have here in America: Café Joyeux (apparently Europe only) and Ginseng Delight.
I’ve only tried Café Joyeux so far. Honestly, I like it. It feels like a solid morning coffee. Not too flavorful, not sweet, just easy and smooth when you want caffeine without thinking too hard.
Haven’t tried the Ginseng Delight yet.
Anyone tried either of these? Thoughts? Worth stocking up next time or nah?
PS: their pink napkin collection??? Obsessed 🤩

I haven’t but I might ask my family to send some from there! I was very excited to see my native language and a known place on your picture lol
But that’s actually a great idea! If it wasn’t for expensive shipping where I live now, it would be nice to exchange around with other people as well.
I hope you enjoyed Portugal and I hope you enjoy your new coffee as well. 😊
You can order Cafe Joyeux online and in the White Nespresso app in the US. Same with Ginseng Delight (though that does say New, so not sure how long it’s been there.) I really enjoy the Cafe Joyeux myself and plan on ordering more next time.
Ginseng delight is so good!!!
i just bought both of these in the states at a Nespresso boutique?
Oh goodness, if you’re in Portugal, you need to get the Bica capsules! They’re so good for an afternoon pick-me-up (called a Bica here). Plus they’re just gorgeous, designed after the azulejos here.
We have both those flavors in America. United States of America.
They are also significantly cheaper – basically half-price in Europe, relative to the US. We loaded up in Paris last fall.
Pods are so cheap in Switzerland that I brought back an entire suitcase. No shame.
Such a good idea! This may be a silly question, but do the pods travel well OP? E.g cabin pressure
I’m in Europe (Ireland) and we don’t have Joyeux here, is it a flavoured pod?
My 2 faves
Joyeux is my favorite (and possibly only) pod to drink black!
