I had the pleasure of dining at Gavroche for the third time last weekend, and I really cannot say enough good things about this place. To me it represents everything you want from a restaurant, especially in the age of consolidation, restaurant groups, and Resy bots: independent, well-run, creative, warm, and delicious. It’s really surprising that my favorite French restaurant is in Old Town of all places, but this place consistently blows me away. If I had one note it’s that the ratatouille(which I always get) may have been a touch heavy on the vinegar this time. Wit that being said, I have tried almost the full menu here and have yet to have something that doesn’t hit. Highly, highly recommend!
