Wine Squares Day 5
Mid priced; mid taste, absolute workhorse priced exactly where it should be. Ol reliable. Never lets ya down, happy to pay it, happy to drink it. Not pretending to be something it’s not.

Il Grigio de San Felice Chianti Classico Riserva. Always good and reliable.
Kendall-Jackson, Grand Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, middle of road price wise, good drinking value, the wine I serve my friends getting into wine.
Chateau Lilian Ladouys
Veuve Clicquot yellow label
Gaja Promis !!
Any of Chapoutier’s Village wines. Mid priced, always well made, never disappoint.
Going for Penfolds Koonunga Hill. Perfectly decent, usually a good price, for me the definition of delivering no more and no less than one would expect.
Educated Guess Cab Sauv
Wittman Riesling Trocken
Castello di Monsanto Chianti Classico
Seghesio Zinfandel.
Costs $20 and tastes exactly like it’s worth that much. Doesn’t blow me away, but make me feel cheated.
(Mid for me is $20-50 USD, it’s the price range and the sweet spot where I expect wine to taste like what it’s supposed to represent.
Jadot Bourgogne Rouge

I think I’ll go with Alexander Valley Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon
Beringer Knights Valley
Any Orin Swift wine
