PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — With the Winter Olympics in full swing, CityPlace has transformed its central lawn into a three-day Winter Sports Village celebrating Team USA and the spirit of Italy.

From Feb. 20–22, CityPlace is hosting an alpine-inspired watch party from noon to 6 p.m. daily, featuring live winter sports coverage, Italian culinary activations and luxury automotive displays. The event is free and open to the public, with food and beverage samples and lounge seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.

At the center of the experience is an outdoor viewing lounge with an 8-by-12-foot LED screen streaming winter sports throughout the day. Lounge seating and a live DJ will create a social atmosphere designed to encourage guests to gather and linger on the lawn.

Italian cuisine will play a major role in the programming, with Eataly anchoring a series of culinary moments inspired by alpine traditions and the games’ host cities of Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.

The Winter Sports Village also includes an automotive showcase from Automobili Lamborghini, featuring a Lamborghini Temerario high-performance electrified vehicle. Guests can explore the car’s design through an immersive Apple Vision Pro experience that blends digital content with the physical display.

Additional interactive elements include themed photo opportunities throughout CityPlace, including an alpine-style chalet where visitors can create custom postcards featuring Italian recipes curated by Eataly.

“As CityPlace continues to grow as a hub for culture, dining and shared experiences, our Winter Sports Watch Party showcases how we bring global moments to life in a way that feels authentic to West Palm Beach,” said Webber Hudson, executive vice president of retail leasing and asset management at Related Ross.

The Winter Sports Village runs Feb. 20–22 from noon to 6 p.m. daily on the CityPlace central lawn.
