Not sure what he used but one of my favorite gochujang mixes is gochu, sesame oil, honey and water to get the thickness/viscosity you want. You can throw a little Maggi in for more umami flavor. It’s one of my favorite sauces in the world and slaps at kbbq/la piedra.

Nice sear on that! That’s what I love using Gochujang for marinate. That sweet and spicy flavor combo taste so good.
