hey everyone, I’m trying to fire up my grill but it keeps flaring and going out like in the video I took. does anyone know what’s going on and how to fix it?
It’s a brand new propane tank and the grill was working two days ago.

disconnect the hose, put it back on and try again. there is a check valve in the tank that may have stuck during transport of the new tank.

Turn off the grill. Turn off the tank.
Turn the tank on. Wait for ~30 seconds. Then turn on the grill and use the ignition.
It’s probably a pressure regulation issue.

When this happens I typically turn the tank off and disconnect the hose or open burners to purge the gas. Reconnect the hose and slowly open the valve on the tank till you hear a click and stop. Should be able to light up after that. Happens with many propane devices like heaters.
