Blue Bell is hitting the road with free ice cream for Texas fans

BRENHAM, Texas (KBTX) – Blue Bell Creameries has announced a statewide tour this spring, offering free ice cream and merchandise giveaways to fans across Texas.

The Lone Star Scoop Tour begins March 1 at Fireman’s Park in Brenham, following Washington County Little League’s opening ceremonies. The tour will then travel to San Antonio, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Lubbock, Laredo, and additional cities throughout the year.

Those with a sweet tooth can expect free hand-dipped Blue Bell Ice Cream, frozen snacks, and merchandise giveaways at each stop. The tour will travel in a newly unveiled truck and trailer featuring colorful ice cream scoops and the company’s signature logo.

“The tour is designed to celebrate our amazing fans and retail partners across the Lone Star State,” said Lauren Lewis, Blue Bell public relations manager, in a press release. “We want to give back to the communities that have supported us for more than 100 years.”

Tour stops are scheduled at retail partner locations and community events throughout 2026. Blue Bell said all stops are open to the public.
