Interesting. Are you gonna watch the birds eat it from inside? What if they get over zealous & start pecking at you?

10/10 would smash, but only cuz I’m drunk rn and that looks like some mean black bean soup, that’s for true.

Nice, how’s it taste? Do you use it to dip your chips into?

  13. Sasstellia

I’m so glad that is for birds.
I thought you were going to eat it. Lol.

Okay okay not an avian vet here but I do have a macaw and I know they say to keep fat intake minimal, and like healthy fats from words like omega, not… ribs. Well, obviously pigeons and crows and shit grow up on McDonald fries, so not shaming you for the seed/ fat soup.

I love your love for the birds, I’m there for it 100%, next time look up some bird safe ingredients and throw some stuff together. Lots of recipes for bird cakes and stuff like that! Rock on.

i uhh…. I umm, I thought this was r/KitchenConfidential for a minute, and thought a tray of custard in the walk in became infested with roaches……

I thought it was black beans and cheese!

I had bought some dried meal worms, and was wondering if I could melt butter, add the worms, and refrigerate it to make a suet cake for the winter birds. Olive oil would be healthier, the butter I buy is salted.

Wait is it for birds or for you?

Either way, that bad boys expired.

Lulz, 10/10 ragebait but I bet the birds love that shit.

Technically things like that were historically used for soldiers rations in the Roman Empire. But they also March 30 miles a day and carried a 60 lb of kit.
