I put stainless steel grates on all my grills including that very Weber Genesis E-310. Yes they are after market as they come with the porcelain grates.

It’s a Genesis ii SE-310. SE For Special Edition. They came with upgraded 9mm SS grates and SS Flavorizer bars. Also the grill light on the handle.
