After never being a fan of fresh sardines, i just started eating canned sardines (my 2nd can of connetable à la Catalane ) and this reciipe was a revelation, it's so good I'm at a loss of words, and it's so good considering it's one of the simplest meal where I'm from (morocco) aka a mkila ( very similar to shakshuka ig), it nay be the fact that I've been fasting all day and i was really hungry, but nonetheless I had a great time eating it.
It's so good I really had to post it here.
So excited to try other canned sardines and would love some recommendations (that I can find in morocco).

    Oh and recipe is : sliced onions, and red, yellow, green peppers that i have frozen, grated garlic, with olive oil in a pan, tomato purée, spices : salt, pepper, red pepper, cumin, and chili flakes ( dumped every spice in my pantry), wait till the sauce thicken, then go in the sardines and mix, the add one egg in the middle and cook till you get the yolk the way you’d like it.
