Love these wines.
Very top shoulder fill. No decant. Throwing a fair bit of sediment, so get your strainers out. There is something wild and untamed about the wine, yet beautiful. Smoky ripe black fruit with Herbs de Provence, wild herbs, cured meats and a bit of horse sweat and maybe perhaps a touch of brett. There was a bit of mustiness in the background which we couldn’t quite work out but didn’t interfere with enjoying the wine. Sweet and savory with a saline, mineral streak. Excellent length, perfect concentration of mature black fruit and acidity to lend freshness. In a great spot right now, this feels more fresher than a 98 we had a few months ago. 93pts.

Now there’s a wine and wine style that you don’t see on this sub often.
Sick
Is that bottling 100% Mourvèdre?
Love those old Trevallons!
A winery that consistently blows me away.
Have a magnum of 2020 that I guess I will be sitting on until 2070
This on is on my list for years but they don’t import it to Israel.
