Best (Work) Day Ever?

I’ve been helping out a coworker on a project and to show her appreciation of my help, she ordered Jeni’s to our office! Mind you, she’s NEVER had Jeni’s before, but she was ready for enlightenment.

The delivery came in a Jeni’s labeled box with a foam cooler inside with dry ice, and it came pretty quickly from when she initially ordered it.

I have been trying to get my hands on the Earl Grey Crème Brûlée Bridgerton collab, and she was able to get both collab flavors (EGCB & Queen Charlotte Sponge Cake) shipped even though it has been out of stock at our local Jeni’s shop. She also ordered a few other popular flavors, including:

-Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks

-Darkest Chocolate

-Brown Butter Almond Brittle (I rave about this flavor)

-Honey Vanilla Bean

-Brambleberry Crisp

Overall, she enjoyed all the flavors (as did I and a few other coworkers), but we took some notes about some of the flavors we had and comments others made.

-The Honey Vanilla Bean was not AS vanilla-y as we wanted it to be, very one note type of ice cream?

-The Earl Grey Crème Brûlée was fantastic, I was able to taste the earl grey (although i’ve seen reviews that some people haven’t tasted it as much) and the sugar bits in the ice cream were a great add in, it was super smooth and was a treat that i’ll have to grab more of before it’s gone.

-The Queen Charlotte Sponge Cake took me by surprise, I was not expecting to like that one as much as the others but it was not as fruity as I thought it would be and was quite nice!

-Brambleberry Crisp is like eating a pie with ice cream, very tasty but not the top pick from the group.

We are going to have ice cream on supply in our freezer from now on – any additions we should make? Are we ridiculous for ordering ice cream to work?
