PARK CITY, Utah — Park City and Midway restaurants were prominently featured in Salt Lake Magazine’s 2026 Dining Awards, with Le Depot Brasserie taking the publication’s top honor and two other Wasatch Back restaurants also earning statewide recognition.
Salt Lake Magazine named Le Depot Brasserie “Most Outstanding Restaurant of 2026” in awards published Feb. 23. The annual package also recognized Park City’s RIME Seafood + Steak and Midway’s Midway Mercantile among its “Best Restaurant of 2026” winners. Salt Lake Magazine said its 2026 awards package highlighted 20 top restaurants across Utah.
“We are extremely honored to receive the award,” owners Galen and Katie Zamarra said in a statement. “Over the past few years, there has been a huge demand for better food and restaurants in Park City and Utah. Many exciting and high-quality restaurants have opened as a result. We are thrilled to be included in the list and to have our vision recognized and appreciated.”

The Zamarras said the recognition reflects both Le Depot Brasserie’s original concept and the support behind it.
“We set out to create a vibrant French brasserie in our special mountain town — a place that feels energetic with great service, cuisine, and guests,” they said. “Seeing the community embrace Le Depot Brasserie like this is incredibly meaningful to us. The award belongs to our dedicated managers and team members, Reef Capital, and our loyal guests. Without them, none of this would have happened.”
Le Depot Brasserie’s award stood out not only because it was the publication’s highest restaurant honor this year, but also because it placed a Park City restaurant at the top of a statewide list curated by Salt Lake Magazine’s dining team and judges. The magazine said its judging panel included food writers, editors, and dining journalists from across Utah.
The recognition for RIME Seafood + Steak and Midway Mercantile added to the Wasatch Back’s strong showing in the 2026 awards, underscoring the region’s growing presence in Utah’s dining scene.
Salt Lake Magazine described the awards as a showcase of “the best experiences across Utah’s foodscape,” with selections intended to guide diners toward standout restaurants statewide.
