The Philomath Rotary Club will host presentations on the Philomath School District’s Weekend Food Pack Program and a member’s experiences at a recent training during its Tuesday, March 3 meeting at Peace Lutheran Church.
Beth Edgemon, Philomath High School counselor, is scheduled to speak on the supplemental food program, which depends on donations from the community and helps address food insecurity among students.
Robert Hulshof-Schmidt, the club’s president-elect, will talk about the organization’s leadership priorities for the 2026-27 Rotary year coming out of training that he attended this month.
The meeting will include announcements and updates on club projects, such as peace pole installations at school sites, Salmon and Jazz fundraiser planning and participation in the city’s 25-year community visioning process.
Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP to rotaryfred@hotmail.com to help organizers plan for the appropriate number of meals.
