That looks pretty good, actually.
I did a week long stint in the hospital a few years ago, due to pneumonia. I don’t know if it was due to all the steroids I was on or what, but I got a steak dinner with rosemary and garlic potatoes, and it was amazing.
I still make that combo at home. though mine is much better.

It was definitely a classic flavor I loved

That is respectable for institutional food. I have my suspicions that it’s some form of velveeta globs to melt easily but the bread is grilled well and browned. Let’s be honest the potential for disappointment in hospital grilled cheese was high, this one looks like it does not.

I was expecting something really bad. At the very least stone cold, but it looks like you still had a little pull to the cheese.
