I wasn't a fan but recently had a bowl that made me realize I've definitely made mistakes in my life.

This one is from Menya Shūgō Bettei Miyabi (麺屋 周郷 別邸 雅) in Meguro.

I actually prefer tsukemen to ramen. I always get 3x the noodles to fully enjoy it

I used to think it was Ramen with extra steps.

Needless to say I was an idiot

  4. I prefer it to ramen. It’s easier to appreciate the intention of each component. The broth is more intense.

I like tsukemen. With ramen the broth can be too heavy for me to finish.

In Saitama we also have a lot of niku tsukeudon, I highly recommend it if you’re ever in the area.

  6. Since discovering tsukemen I’ve fallen in love and never looked back lol.
