Cook a Purim-Inspired Shabbat Dinner With Me | Shabbat Prep Before Purim

This years Purim definitely feels different. There are so many striking parallels between the ancient story of Persia and what is happening today involving Iran. I’m doing what I do best in uncertain times- Praying for the world and cooking for my family.

  21. I am not Jewish though years ago I did live in Jewish households and am familiar with Ashkenazi cooking, and I am interested in learning more about Sephardic cooking. I am enjoying your prep videos so thank you for posting. It’s interesting how so many countries make the chebureki, with different names, sambosa in Ethiopia,Samsa with the Uyghur people of China,Samosa in India,Shingara in Bangladesh, and I guess many more names in other countries. Your breads look out standing.😊

  22. I’m Ashkenazi but I think my taste buds are Sephardic! Thank you so much for sharing these delicious recipes and the beautiful sounds of your kids being kids. Your videos are the coziest. Shabbat Shalom and Happy Purim. 😊

  23. I absolutely love your videos. Wish you put out more but I certainly understand. You made the grape leaves dish look so so good. You are such a pretty and inspiring woman.
