Tabbouleh is, in my opinion, the most well known salad to come from the Arab world. It’s very simple, made with just a handful of ingredients, but they’re all very high quality ingredients so their natural flavors really shine. It’s not labor intensive at all, you can a huge batch ready in just 30 minutes and you’ll be good to go.
Ingredients:
– 2 bunches Parsley
– 1/2 cup Green Onion
– 1/4 cup Fresh Mint
– 2 or 3 Roma Tomato
– 1/2 cup Bulgur
– 2 Lemons
– 1/4 cup Olive Oil
– 1 tsp Black Pepper
– Salt to Taste

We do it with the addition of cucumber … dry mint ! And we nowadays replace Bulgur with Quinoa
Yo también comería tabbouleh todo el día! En casa lo hacemos como tú con mínimas diferencias: el perejil siempre cortado a mano y el burgul sólo enjuagado. Gracias, sahtein!!
I use a small amount of fine bulgur – uncooked – in the bowl . It stops the tabbouleh from getting soggy as it soaks up any excess juices. And I add a little mint and some pomegranate molasses and sumac.
Thank you! Free Palestine! Subscribed.
I add chick peas to mine for taste and added protein❤

Burlgar should washed and marinated with Olive Oil, little salt and black pepper. The longer marinated time the better flavour and taste. You can mixed all the ingredients and add original lemon juice. Enjoy it and Bon Appetit.
I like to add chickpeas and feta
Thank you Waleed. Its perfect . The simplest & most authentic ' Lebanese ' Tabbouleh on social media 😋👏….FYI , few years back , The World Health Organisation ( WHO ) , classified Tabbouleh No.1 salad , as the most nourishing in the world !!😊
Mine is more bulgur, lettuce chopped up and cucumbers. Way more mint than parsley (don’t like parsley) regular onions and loads of lemon juice and olive oil 👌🏻
Most refreshing thing to eat in the summer
Pomegranate molasses is delicious addition
Apparently Syrian add spices to the bulgur too
I wanna try that😋
Thank you for this serie
👁👁 thank you for sharing this with me from Queens N. Y
The first time I had it, it was pretty much how you make it but with a mild amount of grated fresh garlic & lemon zest. I love lemon. I could (and have) just eaten tabbouleh by the spoonful. Delicious!
It never occurred to me to add sumac or pomegranate molasses to tabouleh! (I have both and am obsessed with pomegranate molasses.) I’ve always just stayed traditional but now I’m thinking some Aleppo pepper might be good in it, too. My favorite beach has a snack bar and alongside all the typical beach food they sell a “Half and Half.” It’s a half portion each of hummus and tabouleh with pita. Fall River might not be a huge city but we have the best food. Top three are Portuguese, Lebanese and Chinese. Look up Sam’s Bakery.
that lettuce leaf at the end got me hooked
Great video thank you. If you use curly parsley I will unsubscribe. 🙂
New subscriber. Love tabouleh👌
Having celiac, could I substitute the bulgur wheat for something gluten free such as quinoa?
Love it ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You make beautiful videos!
That was not a "good wash"! 😑😑
your olive oil link seems to be broken
