DAVENPORT, Iowa — A fight broke out Friday afternoon at NorthPark Mall, a Barnes and Noble employee told News 8.
News 8 is currently at the mall after receiving reports of a heavy police presence. The employee told News 8 over the phone that they had heard a fight in the food court, then saw a young man walk up and say he “got stabbed in the neck.” She added that he took off his shirt and appeared to have a small cut, but was walking around and talking. Another guy left in a hurry, she told News 8.
A separate witness reported to News 8 that they saw a victim with injuries.
News 8 has reached out to the Davenport Police Department for more information and confirmation on these reports. We are waiting to hear back.
