crownBistro Guillaume’s restaurant at Crown Perth will close after 14 years.

Crown Perth’s long running French restaurant Bistro Guillaume will close its doors after 14 years of service.

Created by chef Guillaume Brahimi, the restaurant will deliver its last service in early April.

“After 14 memorable years, Bistro Guillaume Perth will close its doors on 4 April,” Crown Perth posted to Facebook.

“Since 2012, Bistro Guillaume has welcomed tens of thousands of guests and shared the charm of classic French bistronomy with WA — created by acclaimed chef and Crown culinary ambassador Guillaume Brahimi.”

Brahimi said he was “incredibly proud of what we have achieved here over the past 14 years”.

“I want to sincerely thank every person who has dined with us over the years,”  he said.

“Cooking and sharing food are what make me happy, and by dining at Bistro Guillaume Perth, you have allowed me to do that.

“It has been an honour to share my love of French cooking with the Perth community, alongside the many chefs and team members who have worked in the venue since 2012.

“I thank our patrons for their loyalty, our staff for their passion, and our suppliers and producers for the quality and care behind every plate. Though we are closing, the relationships and memories will last far beyond.”

Crown Perth CEO Brian Pereira said the venue will be reimagined.

“Over the coming months the venue will be reimagined to host a rotating program of seasonal and innovative popup concepts, while we work on a new concept to bring to Crown Perth, adding to our growing list of new venues including Gladstones and the Urban Food District,” Pereira said.

The closure will not affect Brahimi’s Melbourne restaurant, which will continue to operate as normal.
