hi yall! i took a sourdough class about a month ago, i’ve been baking loaves for about 2-3 weeks now, this is how theyve been turning out, im very new to this so if theres anything to improve on please let me know! i want to learn as much as i can🥰

for the recipe i dont weigh out anything
4 cups bread flour
1/2 cup starter
~Tsp salt
1.5-2 cups water, i just add it slowly until i get a shaggy dough

rest for 30 minutes, stretch and fold x4 every 30 minutes
bulk ferment on counter for 6-10 hours (just depends what time i wake up in the morning) this loaf bulk fermented for ~7 hours
shape and throw in the fridge to cold proof for 8-12 hours (sometimes more. this one was in the fridge for 24 hours)
turn my oven on 450 degrees, throw the dutch oven in the oven with the bread in it while the oven is warming up and leave it in there for 50-55 minutes with the lid on, then take lid off, reduce oven to 400 degrees and leave in for 10 more minutes
and this is how it turns out! let me know your thoughts/ opinions/ tips and tricks!

Interesting baking method. May try that.

I mean this is literally a perfect, by-the-book loaf. Good job! All that’s left of for you to experiment with over and underfermenting, inclusions, etc. to see if you like it in other ways.
