London Broil is, imo, a sleeper cut. $9.99/lb

One of my favorite things to smoke.
Cut it thick and eat it like a roast, slice it thin for Sammies, chunk it for stew or shepherds pie. It’s fantastic.

I frequently reverse sear London broil. One of the few cuts of beef that are cheap anymore, and really makes a great steak frankly, if you treat it right. Leftovers get thin sliced for roast beef sangwiches

Ughh I remember when it was 3.99 a pound and sometimes 1.99

I’ll never turned down a good flank steak

London broil is a cooking method, not a specific cut

  6. KeyMessage989

Agreed. A smoked London broil marinated for 24 hours was one of the best quick smokes ive ever done

I’ve never seen a London broil that looked anything like that

I want to try that care to share how it was prepared, and smoked.

Jeez 9.99 for London broil is way to much… I would rather get so many other cuts for a couple dollars more a pound

Nicely done! Can you share any prep/cook tips for this London Broil?

Do you plan on cooking it, or eating it raw like that?

Salt pepper maybe some garlic, send it through the tenderizer a time or two. On bbq, slice it thin. Leftovers make amazing French Dips

“Don’t let them give you any of that flank steak bullshit. Do yourself a favour, try the London Broil.”

I used to get it for $2.99/lb and make it for jerky.

I can’t afford beef anymore so now it’s just chicken jerky for me.

    £16/kilo ?! Is it from a golden cow ?

Thanks for the positive comments. Lots of shit attitudes in here making me regret posting. I didn’t expect to have to explain that beef cooked to 130 is medium rare but I guess that’s a thing that needs explaining to the turds. I’ll just enjoy my food without the attitude.

Not sure why all the hate. By the looks of that, totally worth the price. Some of the best strips of meat I’ve ever tasted are London Broil. Depends on the source and the cut.

Wow this looks amazing. Need to get this on my smoker ASAP

London Broil isn’t a cut, it’s a recipe for marinated and broiled steak.

When you see it labeled for sale as London Broil, it’s typically flank, or top round but it can literally be anything. It’s similar to how you see “stew meat” or “fajita” sold.
