Had this kaisendon at a casual seafood chain called Isomaru Suisan. It’s a popular late-night izakaya style place in Japan.
It was pretty affordable and fresh. I like how colorful the toppings are.
Do you usually prefer sushi or kaisendon?

Kaisendon for me, especially when the fish looks this fresh. Isomaru is such a reliable late-night spot. That tuna color is beautiful.
Definitely prefer kaisendon or sashimi moriawase and some rice.
I’m just not a huge fan of most modern sushi and want to taste the seafood and rice plainly.
Urgh, I hate it when the ginger touches the fish…
