American goulash (or I just call it Midwest goulash) always reminds me of the 1990s. I make it to this day. I do the noodles and the mix separate so I can freeze the portions and just boil the noodles later. Super cheap, keeps you full on a winters day then more for later.

We call it hamburger mac here but it’s so very good. Nice comforting meal.

Been using this [RECIPE](https://iwashyoudry.com/easy-goulash-recipe/?utm_source=Pinterest&utm_medium=organic) for years! But I use ground turkey. Here in TN I can get a pound of ground turkey for $1.98, ground beef is at least $3 more.
