Oh that sucks. That’s my favorite knife, if I’m being honest. Or at least the one I (a) use the most and (b) tell everyone it’s the knife they never knew they needed. Do what the u/kylesboobs says, if only for display!

I would definitely contact Wustof.
This kind of clean break is indicative of a poor forge, unlike a chip that just shows poor handling.
I would be surprised if they didn’t try to make it right. Not Wusthof, but I have had other companies send me replacements for this exact reason.

I had the same thing happen with a Wüsthof classic 7′ knife when it fell on a ceramic tile. Big sad.
