Fun doughnuts at Frenchie’s

It's been over two yrs since I last had Frenchie's, so I decided to get myself an early birthday treat. They're located near Kipling subway station, but I ordered via UberEats delivery. 12 doughnuts will cost $25.77 in-store. UberEats has what I call an "inflated" BOGO: $27 on one 6-pack and get the other "free", but Frenchie's puts all 12 in the same box. I got Blueberry Lemonade, Spotted Lemon, Margarita, four of each. Many unique flavours to choose from, which are listed on their website.

Blueberry Lemonade: My first time trying this one, I don't know why I avoided it in the past. Fresh blueberry taste, with a slight hint of tartness from the lemon drizzle.

Spotted Lemon: Nice bright lemon flavour. Good balance of sweet and tart. The poppyseeds add a little texture.

Margarita: I've ordered a full box of this before. Not for the timid. Tart and salty, just like an actual margarita. Doesn't really show up in the pic, but it's sprinkled w/ pink sea salt.

Frenchie's makes their doughnuts fresh-to-order. My box was still warm when it arrived, even though it took one hr. The doughnuts themselves were nice and soft. Again, lots of fun flavours, for both kids and kid-ults like me!
