It was inspired by the charm of Sicily

A brand new restaurant with a focus on ‘authentic’ Italian cuisine has opened on Brentwood’s High Street. Buona Bottega has opened next to Domino’s, replacing the former bar Pink.
Inspired by the charm of Sicily’s botteghe, Buona Bottega was created to bring a little piece of home to Brentwood. Growing up in Sicily, some of the owner’s favourite memories are the simplest ones — grabbing a panino on the go, stopping in for a quick coffee, and always feeling welcomed.
The eatery’s website reads: “That feeling is what we wanted to recreate at Buona Bottega: a calm, friendly place that embodies honest flavours and southern Italian warmth at its heart. With our focus on authentic Italian cuisine, we are excited to announce that Cannoli will be coming soon to our menu, bringing that spirit to the High Street.”
The new eatery is open seven days a week, closing at 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, 9pm Monday-Thursday and 8pm on Sundays. With a menu with everything from lasagne to arancini, it’s set to be a winner for everyone in the area!
