When pulling a shot(s), do you use two cups (one under each spout) or one cup (under both spouts)?? I’ve seen both and am wondering if there’s a benefit to doing one or the other? I always do one cup under both spouts.

I use one for each spout unless it’s busy. No reasons just habit.

I use one because 2 is more cleaning up that I don’t want to do haha

My store only splits the espresso for single or extra shot drinks. I’m uncertain what benefit there would be to splitting the shot otherwise.

You can actually dial shots to single cups only but it’s a massive waste of time and money. When ever you need two shots you have to pull a second time if you have dialed the grinder for single shots.”?
Perfectly fine if you have more than 1 grinder for caffeinated beans which is rare to see.

I have never split unless I actually need the shots split (destined for different drinks).
