They came out pretty good. Any suggestions for next time?

I used Meat Church Honey Whole Hog, and Voodoo. Then finished with The Original Japanese BBQ sauce from Costco.

Looks awesome brother. Not enough info for pointers. I add sliced butter and brown sugar at the end cuz I like it sweet.

    They look great.

Temp and time? We just got a bottle of that Bachan’s sauce. Looking forward to smoking something and trying it out.

I forgot to take pictures of mine from this weekend. It’s my wife’s favorite thing that I make on the smoker so it is in a regular rotation.

I don’t think I did them much different from yours.

    1. Smoke the whole pork belly until “done.”
    2. Cut into chunks, put in the pan and slather with a mix of honey and Sweet Baby Ray’s and maybe a dash of hot sauce and continue cooking.

There is usually a *lot* of rendered lard in the pan so I serve with a slotted spoon or tongs to leave some of the lard behind.

Do yourself a big favor and don’t ever look up the uh, “nutritional” value of these.

Trust me, I made that mistake once and I cannot unsee or forget what I now know.
