ATLANTA — Chick-fil-A is reportedly changing its fries again, reverting to its 2024 recipe.
A representative for the popular chicken fast food chain confirmed to People on Tuesday that it will no longer add pea starch to its Waffle Potato Fries. Chick-fil-A added pea starch in 2024.
At the time, it announced that it was making a “slight adjustment” to the fries to make them “stay crispier, longer.”
Its website no longer reflects pea starch as an ingredient.
On Reddit, some users were rejoicing at the change, especially those with pea allergies.
“I hope so. My wife is deathly allergic to peas,” one user wrote on the Chick-fil-A subreddit forum.
