Has anyone else experienced a restaurant allowing (and seemingly encouraging) a Livestream to happen while you're trying to enjoy your meal? Those group was sat directly across from me while I was trying to enjoy a solo dinner at Kjolle in Lima. After a while I think the staff recognized my discomfort and tried to block them from my view or even give me sympathetic smiles, but this really took me out of the experience and ruined the rest of my dinner.
Otherwise the food was decent.

The fact that they allowed it means they aren’t fine dining
Yeah I wouldn’t be happy with this. They don’t seem to be dressed especially presentably either. Sad
why does this look a little bit like ice poseiden
Tripod wanker.
How was the pitri dish uni?
Influencers are one of the worst manifestations of social media.
Yup. Happened at Sushi M in Tokyo. They were invited and doing a feature for the restaurant. They were seated on the short side of L shape counter and us and other customers were in shot. Annoying as hell with the bright light, cameras, talking out loud and explaining the food. Ended up telling the influencers they do not have my permission to take my photo nor include me in any material. Other guests chimed in too. The owner/chef was a bit exasperated but realised he had not thought it through
It’s a tough call, bc from a publicity point of view you also don’t want a shitpost of your restaurant. I’m sorry it was distracting to you but it also doesn’t appear abhorrently disruptive. A big part of fine dining is trying to accommodate everyone. And the restaurant obviously can’t have a rule against filming but it would have to be about super specific camera equipment
I would be…well…pretty pissed off at this kind of BS intruding on my dinner. Not a good look for the restaurant in my opinion.
