The show was a fun concept and had some great moments but in reality I think it did a lot more harm than good. A lot of decent cooks who were just doing what they were told by the chef got a bad name, not to mention you can’t just put a small family business on blast for the entire world to see and expect things to be ok. Sure he would “fix things” while he was there but what happens when he leaves? It either goes right back to the way it was, the business collapses from all the publicity, or they just can’t afford what he’s setting up for them. A ma and pop shop isn’t going to be able to afford serving gourmet food. Not to mention the lack of experience from the cooks. They’re given a new menu and new recipes basically over night

My girlfriend and I were walking home drunk from a bar down the street and ran right into Gordon Ramsay filming a rant outside a restaurant. We just sat a few feet away and giggled. We didn’t want to be disruptive but I’m sure it was annoying. That’s it, that’s the story. It was fun.
