$15!!!!!

Actually, the bill was $23, but I bought a $5 bottle of hotsauce and a $3 bottle of Adobo seasoning. I also missed an onion in the pic (whoops), but you get the idea. $15 for the vegetables!

I've also found good deals on produce at a local Asian market, so be sure to check there, too! I've never been in any of our African, Indian or Halal markets, so can't comment, but friends have told me good things about those.

Bottom line: check your local ethnic markets!

Yes in my area they have extra veggies sales every Wednesday. I love to see what they have that week.

I get some spices there too. Some will sell meat cheaper than the regular grocery & it may be higher quality.

Mine always have great deals on chicken and cuts you can’t find at traditional grocery stores.

I was lucky enough to grow up in Northeast New Jersey in an area where there are tons of little Asian markets, and you can’t beat the price on fresh produce/meat/seafood. I go to Aldi for my pantry food, milk, eggs and yogurt, and all my fresh food comes from the Asian market. I can make a chicken and veggie stir fry for about a total of $6 that can feed 4 people.

In my area ethnic markets are the only places you can buy imperfect produce at a discount. Where I used to live the Kroger did it as well as the local
    Hispanic market.

Looks like there are contaminants in that selection: onions.
