My only tip is, bin the pre ground and buy a decent grinder.

Does you coffee machine have a time travel function?

  3. Aircl0wn

Probably should have used it about a decade ago

    Perfect post for r/espressocirclejerk

Preground this old needs extra brewing time. Prep the coffee like usual, start pulling the shots but when the gauge almost passes the pre-infusion step, stop it immediately. Repeat that step 2 more times before actually letting the coffee extracted. That way the shots pulled out will be much more flavorful and ready to go straight down the drain.

this is the only coffee maker for Bustelo (and Pilon)

All jokes aside you’d likely need a pressurized portafilter basket, where instead of a bunch of holes it just has a singular one which artificially creates pressure for you and helps extract better.

Damn this coffee is old enough to be in the Epstein files.

Put this in a time capsule so some YouTuber can brew it in 2116.

Ahh that’s the 10 year aged reserve bag. Fancy…

Just seeing this post made my espresso taste better. Thanks!

Put it in a campstove percolator, boil about 10 minutes. Add bushmills. Enjoy.

That’s a good vintage. Everyone knows coffee ages like a fine wine.

Also were you rummaging though my parents cabinets?

Most will say trash. I say compost.

  15. Your next investment should be a time machine. I believe Timemore do one which is well regarded in this sub, though when James Hoffman tested it he ended up in a mid 00’s hair salon and hasn’t yet made it back to the present day, so be careful.

That was the day I found out I was pregnant with my first baby! Lmfao.

December 2016 I bet you can still taste the dread.

Patience is the key. Just wait for a little over 9 more months and you get to celebrate the 10th anniversary.

You need a moka pot for this and a cigar

LOL…the taste of Bustelo is very nostalgiac for me though. Reminds me of college when I thought abandoning Folger’s was a pro move. One thing about Bustelo is, drink enough of it and you’ll know what meth is like.

Bro is treating his coffee like aged whiskey

  23. fuckin_sweet_name

Make that in a mocha pot, mix in with some sugar to make some delicious Colada.

  24. If your machine has the option, preinfuse overnight.

Y’all are laughing but this is literally the type of TJ Max expired coffee my dad uses for the Brevile I gifted him for Christmas.
