Ramadan Mubarak All! For the first episode for Ramadan 2026, I’m sharing my secret for a stress-free Ramadan. In this video, I’ll show you how to create a “Freezer Soup Treasure” system that will cut your kitchen time in half while keeping your Iftar table nutritious and traditional.

From the Ottoman palace to our modern kitchens, soup has always been the ultimate equalizer and the best way to nourish the body after a long day of fasting. With these pre-portioned “soup pucks,” you can have a steaming bowl of high-protein lentil, chickpea, or yogurt soup ready in just 10 minutes.

  1. Hey Aysenur,I am observing fasting with all my Turkish friends…thank you for this video..I love all the beans you shared and have soup of some kind everyday..I love a bowl of soup before the main meal..;I have many soup recipes but most of them are yours..I do make a roasted red pepper soup…a potato soup,a onion soup,a pumpkin soup..etc,,

  2. Dear Aysenur..
Let aside every food tip and recipe you shared with love for all of us, that note at the end just warmed my ❤.. I have been doing this for years, Ramdan like any other month when it comes to food, a healthy satisfying meal is enough.. looking at what others share made me question myself sometimes if I am doing the right thing or not.. I still kept doing it despite all because I believe Ramdan is not about food and food shouldn't be our main concern.. Remembering all those in need around our Islamic nation, I always felt ashamed of how we deal with food specially in Ramdan while our brothers and sisters can't find a dry bread to break their long fast..
Thank you for speaking up and normalising this act ❤

  3. As an American visiting Istanbul in may, your videos are quite enjoyable and informative! I have an interest in Islamic architecture having visited Granada and Cordoba Spain last fall! Inshallah!

  4. Subhanallah such a great Idea using muffin cup in a freezer 😀 I never thought of that.I have to do this. Thanks 😊

  5. Nice creative ideas. How many days can a frozen "soup puck" stay in the freezer? Will the taste of it decrease? do you have to cover the silicone moulds when they are the freezer?

  7. Great point to encourage less catering to our ‘nafs’ – more emphasis on Quran . It’s not a good competition and men especially should refrain from expecting high cuisine

  8. Wishing you Blessed Ramadan.
Thank you for amazing soups. Have blended beans in soup 🫘 but never before individually before making soup.

I'm a medical doctor and love to cook.

Your humble table is best have seen Ramadan.

  12. Soup kept the world alive during hard times.
Also after fasting it is better to break the fast eating soup and light food. In hot weather soup will hydrate and give the body electrolytes and yogurt is a very good replacement for the more fatty creamy alternatives. Love soup. I live off it. I make one concentrate per week and add something different everyday to the preprepared concentrate so I am never eating the same everyday. I try these recipes. Thank you.🌺
