Picking this up 2nd hand for $400. Being in San Diego, these never go on clearance and think this will be the best deal I get..

Yeah it’ll fit. Keep us updated though.

  2. Most likely not…unless you disassemble completely and use all the extra seats.

I’m going to say yes. I think I could figure out how to put my 2 in my 80s 3 series which is similar size. Height is going to be the issue but taking off the cap will helps.

Obviously the tables and stand need to go elsewhere. Towels, bring some towels. The inner heat deflectors coming out is going to help in picking it up.

If need be the top hatch comes off but before you do that watch a YouTube video about doing it properly.

Can it fit and can you moving it to position are two different questions…

Prob not 😂 . I doubt it will get through the door

It’s never on clearance in SD? It was on clearance in LA

I brought mine home in my 2013 civic. Just loosen the band and separate the lid from the base. Easy fit and much lighter to pickup when the two ceramic parts are apart. Go get it before someone else does!

I got mine home in a Subaru Liberty hatch. Once I took the daisy wheel off it just fit height wise in the boot with the seat down. Obviously it was out of the base and with the sides off.

Ended up having to dismantle it anyway to get it up the stairs into my apartment because it was too heavy to carry.

Size wise it will fit on the front seat, as its comparable to a person in dimensions and weight. Your problem will be getting it in and out, because unlike a person it doesn’t have legs. I would take some tools with you.

It might fit, but it’s going to be very tough to maneuver and might break your seatbelts along the way.

Definitely worth it to rent a truck.

Thanks for the replies yall. Going to give it a shot tomorrow but bringing a few wrenches and zip ties in case I have to take the dome off. Will report back if successful.

I fit mine in the front of a Kia forte 2014. Use the seat belt. I took out all the internals. You need help getting it in there

I have a 2017 accord, which is bigger, and I just barely (but pretty well) fit a joe jr in the back. It was a nightmare getting in and out though. Good luck lol…

I put a BGE in a Camry once. Disassembled. Put the dome in the trunk, and the lower section in the backseat strapped in. inner pieces wrapped in towels
