Well Ive haven’t seen this on ramen, this is a hack to avoid eBay fees. Imagine I have a GoPro I’m selling for $299 buy it now on eBay. eBay will take $32 of that. At the same time I have the item posted on Facebook marketplace. A guy locally says they’ll take it and can pick it up today. On eBay, even if you don’t sell it, if you delist it, you can be hit with a fee. However, you can edit the item. If you change the price to $10,000, it effectively makes it so no one will buy it. If someone does clock buy it now for that price, I’ll go out and buy a new GoPro from Best buy to give to them.
