Subway-Style Bread 🥖
Soft, chewy homemade bread with a golden, flavorful Parmesan and oregano crust — perfect for sandwiches or snacking.

Ingredients
Dough:
• 450 g all-purpose flour
• 300 ml warm water
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 7 g instant yeast
Topping:
• 2–3 tbsp grated Parmesan
• 1–2 tsp dried herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
• Pinch garlic powder
• Water in a spray bottle

Instructions
1. Activate Yeast: Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast; let foam 5–10 min.
2. Make Dough: Combine flour & salt; add yeast mixture & olive oil; mix into rough dough.
3. Knead: 8–10 min until smooth & elastic.
4. First Rise: Cover, let rise 1–1.5 h until doubled.
5. Shape Loaves: Punch down, divide into 3, shape to fit baguette pan.
6. Add Topping: Lightly spray tops with water; sprinkle or roll in Parmesan & oregano mix.
7. Second Rise: Cover loosely, rise 20–30 min.
8. Bake: Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F); bake 15–20 min until golden.
9. Cool: Remove from pan, cool on wire rack, then slice.
