HUY FONG sriracha has been shit for years ever since they tried to fuck over underwood ranch.
Trashbagok
I honestly don’t understand why anyone fucks with Huy Fong anymore.
DrinkMunch
Only had to use the chili garlic sauce professionally and only as a condiment. Can’t beat the sizing on that shit.

I used to buy gallon jugs of green sriracha from this guy that was like 5 feet tall and was Greek for some reason. Stopped by his commissary space one day and his staff had no clue where he was, the rumor was he dipped out on some gambling debt — sold a few bulk produced items to other restaurants in the area
I miss that sriracha. That shit was delicious.
He’d show up in a purple velvet track suit before we opened with like 4 gallons and be like “My friend! I think you will especially like this batch today.. ”
And I’d go “oh yeah? Why’s that?”
“Because it is the exact same as the last batch. And it is the best”

Badia is the successor to the OG Sriracha

Sriracha is on my bottom tier of hot sauces/condiments. I mean I’ll use it if that’s all there is…but my head be shaking.

Idk I think we can move on at this point.
Chili crisp and gochujang are better
KeeverDriveCook
Huy Fong brought all of this on themselves.
And now, shockingly, they’re having Quality Control issues

Arent these the guys who screwed over their pepper supplier for a better deal after having a handshake deal for 20 years where they were both making good money?

One of the demands by Huy Fong of underwood was no green peppers. Whenever Huy Fong tried to cut it with Mexican sourced peppers, the farmers would send green in a “beg for forgiveness” gambit.
In the past Huy Fong has literally stopped production because of “Too many green peppers”.
In the love letter documentary, they got the old man on tape demanding no green.

this is the problem with huy fong now. no consistency. even if it was red.
they buy whatever peppers they can get the best deal from. sometimes it’ll be good, sometimes not.
thats why some people prefer underwood. its way more consistent since they have 30 years of growing peppers for siracha. they need better garlic though.

Red peppers were green peppers, sad you have to tell people that.

Don’t buy Huy Fong! Buy from Underwood Farms in Moorpark, California, the original supplier of chilis for Huy Fong!!

I laughed when I read “I put sriracha on my sriracha”
Damn they are right, its addictive. Even my wife like it

Meet the new sauce,…
el_smurfo
They didn’t have “supply issues”,n they fucked their main supplier who then sued and won. They now make their own sauce as “underwood farms”
Magic_Neil
Whoa, Huy Fong has supplier issues? NO WAY. I can only imagine why.
gassygeff89
Huy Fong has gotta have one of the biggest bag drops in history.

That’s why lol

Y’all sound like bots advertising for underwood every single comment is the exact same

Just get the underwood sriracha from costco. Taste 10x better than Huy Fong in it’s prime despite being the same peppers.

Honestly the peppers they use for this green one are top notch. I think it’s tasty. But also I obviously miss the OG classic
Utter_cockwomble
I make hot sauce and for it to be brown it’s not a-few unripe peppers- it’s like half the supply. And unripe peopers don’t have the flavor and heat that ripe red peppers do.
This batch gonna suck.

There were always green peppers in the mix. Photo from 2016 factory tour. It was always a fun day. Tour, ice cream and a really nice branded item

Three Mountains is better. Pick it up at your local Asian market!
Underwood Ranch for the win.
