A new specialty wine and cheese shop called The Cheese Cartel is planning to open at Founders Row in Falls Church. The store’s social media says it aims to open in Q1 of 2026 at 922 W. Broad St.

The store’s website lists a menu that “will showcase the finest specialty cheeses, cured meats, olives, tapenades, fresh baguettes, crackers, preserves, chocolates, nuts, and gluten-free options.” It will also offer cut-to-order cheeses, grab-and-go baguette sandwiches, and freshly made charcuterie boards.

According to the website, The Cheese Cartel will rotate its food and drink offerings. It will also collaborate with local artisans for exclusive products.

The site also says that the store’s owner has celiac disease, and there will be gluten-free options available, such as baguettes, crackers, cheeses, and cured meats. The layout will be planned with gluten-free food-prep areas.
